With more than enough room for four passengers (and five in a squeeze), Renault Logan is a massive step in the right direction towards improving interior and build quality. It may lack the soft-touch plastic coating on the dashboard, but the design looks solid and the layout straightforward.
Even for a truly budget vehicle, Dacia-Renault have inserted some mock-aluminum trim to brighten up the Logan’s center console. Instrumentation and a rebadged steering wheel from the Clio help to bring the look of the interior up a few notches on the classification scale.
All Renault Logan models receive frontal airbags and three-point seatbelts for occupants, while ABS with brakeforce distribution is standard for the 1.6 liter and optional for the 1.4.
The Renault Logan notchback trunk can carry a surprisingly large cargo volume of 510 litres - larger than cars twice its size!
